Arrival in Arusha - Welcome to Tanzania
Your grand Tanzania safari begins with a warm welcome at Kilimanjaro International Airport or your Arusha hotel. Your private driver will transfer you to your luxury lodge in Arusha.
Check into your room with stunning views of Mount Meru. After freshening up, meet your safari guide for a detailed briefing on the exciting days ahead. Your guide will explain the route, wildlife to expect, and answer any questions.

Arusha to Tarangire - Elephant Paradise
Morning departure from Arusha. Drive south to Tarangire National Park, approximately 2 hours through the beautiful Tanzanian countryside.
Tarangire is famous for its massive elephant herds - some of the largest in Africa. The park is home to over 3,000 elephants, and huge herds gather along the Tarangire River during the dry season. Watch families of elephants bathing, playing, and interacting.
The landscape is stunning - ancient baobab trees dot the savanna, some over 1,000 years old. These magnificent trees provide shelter for leopards and nesting sites for birds. The park is also home to lions, cheetahs, giraffes, and over 500 bird species.
Afternoon game drive along the Tarangire River. Arrive at your luxury lodge as the sun sets. Enjoy sundowner cocktails with views of the river.

Tarangire to Serengeti - Entering the Endless Plains
Morning game drive in Tarangire as you exit the park. Search for any wildlife you may have missed yesterday.
Drive north through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area towards the Serengeti. Stop at the Ngorongoro Crater rim for spectacular views into the world's largest intact volcanic caldera.
Enter the Serengeti through the Naabi Hill Gate and begin your game drive on the vast Serengeti plains. The Serengeti is home to the Great Migration - over 1.5 million wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles moving in an ancient pattern.
Arrive at your luxury tented camp in the central Serengeti. These camps offer the perfect blend of wilderness immersion and luxury comfort. Dinner under the stars with the sounds of the African bush.

Full Day Serengeti - Big Five & Predator Safari
Full day exploring the Serengeti ecosystem. Early morning game drive when predators are most active. The Serengeti is famous for its lion prides - watch for these magnificent cats hunting on the plains.
Visit the Seronera River valley, the best area in Africa for leopard sightings. The river is home to large hippo pods and massive crocodiles. Look for leopards resting in sausage trees along the riverbank.
Afternoon game drive focusing on the Big Five. The Serengeti has large elephant herds, and the endangered black rhino can occasionally be spotted. Buffalo herds graze on the plains.
Your expert guide will share their knowledge of animal behavior, ecology, and conservation. Return to camp for a special bush dinner experience under the stars.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro - The Eighth Wonder
Morning game drive in the Serengeti as you depart. One last chance to spot any wildlife you may have missed.
Drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and ascend to the crater rim. Stop at the viewpoint for breathtaking panoramic views of the world's largest intact volcanic caldera.
Descend 600 meters into the crater floor for a full day game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is home to approximately 25,000 large animals, including the rare black rhino.
Search for the Big Five on the crater floor. The crater has one of the highest densities of lions in Africa. Watch for flamingos at the alkaline Magadi Lake. Visit the famous Hippo Pool.
Ascend the crater wall as the sun sets and head to your luxury lodge on the crater rim.

Ngorongoro to Lake Manyara - Tree-Climbing Lions
Morning drive from the Ngorongoro Crater to Lake Manyara National Park, approximately 2 hours through the Great Rift Valley.
Lake Manyara is a compact park with incredible diversity. The park is famous for its tree-climbing lions - one of only two places in Africa where lions regularly climb trees.
The park is also home to large elephant herds, hippos, and the alkaline Lake Manyara which attracts thousands of flamingos. The lush groundwater forest is home to baboons, blue monkeys, and incredible birdlife.
Afternoon game drive through the park. The Great Rift Valley escarpment provides a stunning backdrop.
Arrive at your luxury lodge on the escarpment with panoramic views of the lake and valley below.

Morning game drive in Lake Manyara for any wildlife you may have missed. The early morning light is perfect for photography.
After lunch, visit Mto wa Mbu village - Tanzania's most culturally diverse village and a melting pot of over 120 tribes. This authentic cultural experience includes:

Lake Manyara to Arusha - Farewell Safari
Optional early morning game drive in Lake Manyara for sunrise photography.
Return to your lodge for a leisurely breakfast with views of the Great Rift Valley. Pack up and begin your drive back to Arusha.
Stop at viewpoints along the Great Rift Valley escarpment for final photos. The views of the valley below are breathtaking.
Arrive in Arusha in the late afternoon. Farewell lunch at a local restaurant. Transfer to your hotel or the airport.
